A lash artist working in France since 2015, founder of Maison du Cil Thailand, and the person who answers every student's real client questions herself.
Where it started
It used to take me 3 hours to do one client’s lashes. And they didn’t even last a week.
Some clients had reactions. Some felt pain. Some came back with their lashes falling out.
Back then, I was just one Thai woman who had recently moved to France. I couldn’t even speak the language. All I had was my love for art, especially the art of the eyes.
Because I believe beautiful lashes don’t just make someone look more beautiful. They let her look in the mirror and feel confident, and feel her own worth. I wanted to do that kind of work. Work that matters.
But the truth was… the harder I tried, the further my work felt from what I wanted it to be. Every time a client wasn’t happy, I felt so discouraged.
But instead of giving up, I decided to fly abroad to learn.
I practised again and again, through trial and error, until my hands remembered on their own. And what I discovered along the way changed my work forever.
Beautiful lashes that last don’t come from skill alone. They come from the right knowledge, from choosing the right glue and caring for the eyes, to the technique behind every single lash.
Because beauty that isn’t safe isn’t beauty.
What began as a small shop called May Beauty is today Maison du Cil, two lash studios in France.
One Thai woman who started out unable to speak the language built her own brand through pure dedication.
Today, I want to pass on everything I’ve learned to Thai lash artists. Because I know how you feel. You love this work. You care about every lash. But you still don’t know why your work doesn’t last, or why your clients don’t come back.
You don’t have to fly to England, Poland, and Romania like I did. And you don’t have to spend years on trial and error like I did.

My background and certifications
May has studied and trained with over 30 leading institutes across Europe since 2015, bringing together the science and the art of lash design — the technique, the aesthetics, and the ability to see what makes each person themselves.
